My Journey to Becoming a Health Coach

My Journey to Becoming a Health Coach By Michelle Sala, Certified Integrative Health Coach A lot of people wonder why I would quit a 20+-year career, a good paying job in college publishing, to start my own business as an integrative health coach. It really was a slow journey that began when I was in…

About Me

After many years in the college textbook publishing industry, I decided to turn my passion for health and wellness into my career. As an integrative health coach I help people realize their health and lifestyle goals simply by learning to use real foods and make healthier lifestyle choices.

Like many of you, I was frustrated by doctors who wanted to prescribe drugs to solve my digestive and skin issues. It wasn’t until I took a more holistic approach to my health that I began to see real results and get lasting relief. I want to share my knowledge with you so you do not have to continue to suffer when natural solutions are available.

Hiring a health coach isn’t just for those who want to lose weight, but also for those who want to reverse and/or manage chronic conditions such as diabetes, IBS, acid reflux, skin conditions, heart disease, auto-immune diseases, and more.

There is no one perfect diet that works for everyone because we are all different and have different nutritional needs. Most people fail at making long lasting changes to their weight and health because ‘diets’ are too restrictive and are unsustainable. I will work with you to find foods that you love to achieve your health and weight goals and maintain your new lifestyle.

I received my training through the Institute for Integrative Nutrition where I studied over 100 dietary theories and a variety of practical lifestyle coaching methods. Drawing on this knowledge, I will help you create a completely personalized “roadmap to health” that suits your unique body, lifestyle, preferences, and goals.

I am also a True Cellular Detox™ practitioner. If you a looking to make a profound turnaround in your health because you are suffering from autoimmune conditions, hormonal imbalances, weight loss resistance, or you are just tired of being fat, sick and tired, then this 90 day program might be for you! The True Cellular Detox™ protocol will help you uncover the root cause of your health issues.

My services include one-on-one health coaching, True Cellular Detox™, low-cost lab testing, corporate wellness speaking, wellness classes, cooking classes, and recipe development. I am located in Salt Lake City, Utah.

My clients are currently from all over the US and hopefully someday will be from all over the world! If you are not local to me, we can meet by phone or Zoom Web Conference. Contact me at 805-588-6159 or email michelle@michellesala.com
